Attention 5th Graders!  Greenbrook needs you to join our Yearbook Staff for 2016-2017!

This is a fun and creative way to help capture a year full of great memories!

Please see attachment on how to apply.

There will be no school on Friday, September 30th due to a staff development day!

Students will now have two class periods in their schedule, an AM and a PM period.  Breaking the periods into an AM and a PM session will help track students who may continually come in late and/or leave early.  This will give a more accurate picture of student's attendance patterns.

That's right, all PTA members will be entered into a drawing for a chance to have their children eat lunch (menu of their choice) with Mrs. Murphy!  The drawing will be held on Monday, September 26th, so make sure to join the PTA before then for your chance!
Even if you don't win the lunch, check out the benefits below and perks for being a PTA member!
PTA membership means exclusive extra perks for you!
LEGOLAND ~ Aquarium of the Pacific ~ California Academy of Science ~ Enterprise Car Rental ~ Comcast

Greenbrook PTA is excited to bring back for the 2016-2017 school year the Eagles Run Club. The Eagles Run Club is a fun, voluntary activity for students (Grade K-5) offered on Friday mornings, before school. Multiple studies have shown that cardio exercise in the morning promotes better mood, concentration and academic performance. Additionally, social running is fun!
Friday, September 23rd, we will kick off the Eagles Run Club starting at 8:00am. We will meet every Friday morning at 8:00am (weather permitting) at the Greenbrook Field.
All students are welcome with a signed waiver form. Family members are highly encouraged to run with your Eagle. You don't need to be an experienced runner, but a positive attitude is a must.
Running is healthy and fun! Charms are given for distance running and attendance.
More Info - For more information and to download a waiver form please go to the Eagles Run Club website.
If you have any questions please contact Elisa Barnes at

Come join Mrs. Murphy in the MPR Friday, September 23rd at 8:30 AM for coffee.

The assembly will teach your student important bicycle and pedestrian safety habits, such as how to safely cross the street, how to use a pedestrian countdown signal, and how to wear a bike helmet properly.
